The Cattle Breeders Association, popularly known as Miyetti Allah has requested time from Lagos state assembly to educate members on the anti-open grazing bill which is littled, 'A bill for a legislature to ban Open Cattle Grazing In Lagos State, the Trespass of Cattle Land And For Other relevant Purposes.'
The group has sought an extension of time to enable them to educate its members to quit the method of open grazing of cattle in the State.
Mikuni Usman, the association’s Zonal Secretary for South-West, issued the appeal on Wednesday during a one-day public hearing hosted by the state House of Assembly on the anti-open grazing bill.
